Young women were the true originators of the Grimms’ Tales

The lights are still on at Marktgasse 17. Here, a young woman lives in a cramped flat on the second floor with her five brothers. Their father died when they were very young. Only three years ago, their mother followed him. Since then, it has fallen to the young woman to run the household in Kassel. What a struggle!
